Privacy Policy

Milestone Passport is a private memory-keeper. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. The short version: your travels are yours. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share your memories with anyone unless you explicitly share them yourself.

1. What we collect

Account details — your username, email address and a hashed password (never the password itself). Your travel content — the countries and stamps you mark, and the memories you add: photos, videos, voice notes, written entries, bucketlist items and album details. Basic diagnostics — crash reports and coarse usage signals (which features are used, not what's inside them) to keep the app working well. We do not collect your precise location in the background; countries are marked only when you mark them.

2. How we use it

We use your data for exactly one purpose: running the Service for you — drawing your map, rendering your passport, keeping your timeline in order and generating the travel books and share cards you request. Diagnostics are analyzed in aggregate.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show advertising or share data with ad networks. We do not share your travels, your location history or your memories with anyone — unless you explicitly export or share them yourself, or we are legally compelled by a valid order (in which case we share the minimum required and tell you unless prohibited).

4. Storage and security

Your content is encrypted in transit and at rest. Synced data is stored on servers in the EU and the US with industry-standard safeguards. Before you create an account, your content lives only on your device (and in your device backups). Payment details never touch us. Billing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store and Google Play.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) deactivates it immediately and permanently erases your account and all associated content from our servers within 30 days; signing back in within those 30 days restores everything. You can also export your passport pages and travel books at any time from the Profile page.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Most of these are built in: export from Profile → Export, correct your details in Profile → Account, delete everything with Delete account. For anything else, or to exercise a right we haven't built a button for yet, write to devtee000@gmail.com and we will honour it.

7. Children

Milestone Passport is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at devtee000@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The latest version always lives at this page, with its effective date at the top.
